Mrs Rose Ogbechie

Mrs. Rose Ogbechie is a senior lecturer in Business Ethics and Sustainability at Lagos Business School, bringing extensive management experience across multiple industries to her role as CEO/Founder of Be Happy Foundation.

Her vision emerged from recognizing the critical need to address youth mental health and empowerment in Nigeria. With suicide rates rising and 20% of young people experiencing depression before adulthood, Mrs. Ogbechie established the foundation to create positive change.

A passionate advocate for youth development and women’s empowerment, she combines academic expertise with practical solutions. Under her leadership, the foundation has reached over 2,000 young people through innovative programs focusing on personal development, skills acquisition, and mental wellness.
